a season, a 24 Hours of Daytona (USA), from Colton Herta (USA) and
Philipp Eng (AUT). Edwards and Krohn will share a cockpit during Daytona
with Augusto Farfus (BRA) and Chaz Mostert (AUS). Farfus, De
Phillippi, Herta and Eng are a same 4 drivers who took feat in
a GTLM category after a dramatic, rain-dominated Daytona competition in 2019.

As it did final season, a IMSA calendar comprises a sum of twelve
rounds. At eleven of them, BMW Team RLL will competition a GTLM class
with dual BMW M8 GTEs. As good as a opening turn during Daytona, further
highlights embody a 12 Hours of Sebring (USA) and the
season-closing ‘Petit Le Mans’ during Road Atlanta (USA).

Jens Marquardt (BMW Group Motorsport Director):

“I am looking brazen to a 2020 IMSA deteriorate and am assured that,
with a 4 unchanging drivers, we have all in place to make it
a successful year. We are entering a twelfth year together with BMW
Team RLL. We are also mostly going with smoothness when it comes to
a drivers. John Edwards and Connor De Phillippi have a lot of
knowledge of a IMSA series, and Jesse Krohn also did a good pursuit in
his second IMSA deteriorate in 2019. All 3 know a BMW M8 GTE, the
array and a circuits in North America unequivocally well. Bruno Spengler has
not usually shown his category via his prolonged DTM career, though also in
his many GT outings on a continuation scene. we am certain that he will be
a genuine item to BMW Team RLL. At this point, we would quite like
to appreciate Tom Blomqvist for a good partnership over a past five
years. Whether in a DTM, WEC, Formula E or a IMSA series, like
final season, Tom has coped good on any terrain. We wish him all the
best for a future. The IMSA deteriorate traditionally starts with the
ultimate prominence – a 24 Hours of Daytona. It will be good to see
final year’s 4 GTLM winners – Augusto, Connor, Colton and Philipp –
behind during a circle of a BMW M8 GTE there.”

Bobby Rahal (Team Principal, BMW Team RLL): “Once
again BMW has given us a unequivocally good core of drivers to contest with
in 2020. I’m gratified with a smoothness we have with John Edwards,
Connor De Phillippi and Jesse Krohn returning. It is always a good
thing to be means to build on a substructure we have combined when
possible. Bruno Spengler is a unequivocally good group actor and will be a
good addition. we have a lot of honour for him and all he has
finished in a DTM. We are happy that Augusto Farfus, Colton Herta and
Phillipp Eng, who helped us win a 2019 Rolex 24 during Daytona, will be
returning to a choice for that competition and are also looking brazen to
welcoming Chaz Mostert back. We appreciate Tom Blomqvist for his commitment
to a group this deteriorate and wish him fitness in his endeavours.”

Bruno Spengler (#25 BMW M8 GTE): “It’s good to be
partial of BMW Team RLL now. we still know lots of a guys from a races
that we contested for a group in Daytona and Sebring. Everyone has
finished me feel unequivocally welcome. I’m unequivocally looking brazen to carrying a
unequivocally experienced, clever GT motorist as a team-mate during my side in
Connor. I’m vehement for a new plea and can’t wait for the
deteriorate to get started.”

Connor De Phillippi (#25 BMW M8 GTE): “We finished
final deteriorate with a lectern and naturally we wish to build on that in
a BMW M8 GTE’s third deteriorate in a IMSA series. We have finished a few
improvements within a group and already finished some swell over the
winter. I’m vehement to see how most we will have increased our
performance. Our motorist choice is unequivocally strong. we consider we are ready
for a deteriorate opener during Daytona.”

John Edwards (#24 BMW M8 GTE): “I’m unequivocally vehement to
be rejoining BMW Team RLL, generally as we keep Jesse as my teammate
and also a engineer. This coherence will hopefully assistance us to
serve urge on a lane as well. We had some good races last
year, though all in all it was a bit adult and down and didn’t outcome in a
good championship position. The idea is to be some-more unchanging in 2020.”

Jesse Krohn (#24 BMW M8 GTE): “As we will go into my
third year in this series, a training should be done. For me it’s
time to govern now. we know a group and we work unequivocally good together.
we don’t see a reason because we shouldn’t have a good deteriorate in 2020. I’m
unequivocally looking brazen to it.”
