City Express Begins Making Its Way to Dealerships

Oshawa, Ontario (Wednesday, October 29, 2014) – Chevrolet’s all-new 2015 City Express cargo van, with a starting price of $25,995, began shipping to dealerships.
Drivers looking for cargo hauling flexibility with efficiency, and fleet managers who want value-driven capability with lower operating costs than full-size vans, are now able to purchase the vehicle for their specific needs.
“We expect the arrival of the new City Express at Chevrolet dealerships to be met with excitement from our existing customers,” said Joe De Stefano, national fleet sales manager, General Motors in Canada. “This is an opportunity to demonstrate the capability and versatility of the many Chevrolet commercial vehicles that are available to potential customers looking for a vehicle that meets their needs.”
To make the shopping and purchasing process easier and more convenient, Chevrolet offers web tools so that buyers can compare the City Express to other vehicles in the marketplace to see how it stacks up in areas like fuel economy, pricing, and safety.
The City Express will be a part of Business Choice, an incentive program that provides qualified business owners various options including a $700 Upfit Cash allowance. Chevrolet also will offer customers ship-thru service, which sends the vehicle directly to an upfitter from the plant and the upfit vehicle is delivered directly to the dealer once complete. The ship-thru process makes it simple and convenient to upfit the City Express to meet the specific needs of the business.
City Express will be covered by Chevrolet Complete Care, which includes scheduled maintenance for two years or 40,000 km, whichever comes first, 5 Years/160,000 km of 24-Hour roadside assistance and courtesy transportation and it’s covered under Chevrolet’s five-year/160,000 km powertrain warranty, as well as a three-year/60,000 km bumper-to-bumper limited warranty.
