“Touchdown” at the BMW International Open: Fleetwood, Kaymer Wiesberger and Co. arrive at Munich Airport.

Munich. Tommy Fleetwood was still in contention at the U.S.
Open in Wisconsin (USA) on Sunday (the Englishman ultimately
finished fourth). Just a few hours later, he was landing at Munich
Airport on a BMW charter flight. Joining him on board were two-time
major winner Martin Kaymer, Austria’s top golfer Bernd Wiesberger,
and Spanish Ryder Cup player

Rafa Cabrera Bello, who will all tee off at this week’s BMW
International Open (21st to 25th June,
Golfclub München Eichenried).

Armed with Bavarian flags, the golf stars disembarked still feeling a
little tired, but full of anticipation ahead of the iconic German
tournament. The elite party headed straight from the plane to BMW 7
Series shuttle cars, which awaited them on a special green carpet out
on the runway.

The 2017 BMW International Open officially gets underway with the
Pro-Am on Wednesday, 21st June. Among the amateurs in
action will be skiing star Felix Neureuther, who tees off alongside
Kaymer at 08:00, bobsleigh world champion Johannes Lochner, Olympic
luge champion Felix Loch, biathlon legend Fritz Fischer, Bundesliga
manager Ralph Hasenhüttl, former captain of the German football team
Michael Ballack, and presenter Annica Hansen.

Admission is free from Wednesday to Friday. Tickets for the weekend
