SEAT In the framework of the CSIO Barcelona 2016, a world-class equestrian competiton organised these days in the Catalan capital, company President Luca de Meo made a special donation this Saturday to Mar Álvarez, representating the city’s Ramón Berenguer III school, consisting of 35 tablets for the school and the children to use as winners of the contest promoted by the #BCNalgalop initiative.

The company, which is an official sponsor of the CSIO 2016 and official vehicle of the event, gave 35 tablets to the city’s Ramón Berenguer III school for winning the contest promoted by the #BCNalgalop initiative. Through this social project, more than 5.000 students from 90 public schools participated in painting a fibreglass horse called Shooting Star. This summer the winning entry was on display in several locations of interest in the city, such as the Olympic Museum on Montjuïc hill, the Tibidabo mountain and the Barcelona-El Prat airport, as well as these days at the Barcelona Polo Club. This action, promoted by SEAT and the Barcelona Polo Club in collaboration with the Barcelona Council, aims to bring children closer to the world of horses, riding and sporting values.

With this donation of technological equipment, SEAT reaffirms how important it is for schoolchildren to have access to new technologies that serve as educational tools as well as prepare them for today’s digital world. The initiative also aligns with the corporate strategy of the company, which is immersed in a full-blown transversal digital transformation process.
