Do you know the saying ‘great things come in small packages?’ For Mike Iandanza and his 2009 Ford F-250, this couldn’t be any further from the truth.

The F-250, which is classified as a Super Duty truck, is the big brother of the F-150. The F-250 is available with both 6.2-litre gas and 6.7-litre diesel engines, up to 400 horsepower and 800 lb.-ft. of torque, along with a max tow rating of 24,700 lbs. Iandanza, a resident of Verchères, Que., says he gets a sense of pride when he sees heads turning while he’s behind the wheel. It’s also a great way to draw attention to his roofing company.

The F-250 boasts many features that help Mike do his job as a contractor. The imposing size of the truck is a real asset, he said, noting he has no trouble fitting all his equipment and tools in the bed. It’s a true example of a “Built Ford Tough” truck, according to Mike.

As a father, the F-250’s large cabin space is important to him. “I have two kids and a third one on the way,” he said. “We also have a lot of space at the front for two adults. I’m not a small guy, so I need the space.”

And though Mike is happy with his F-250, he’s already thinking about his next truck – an even larger Ford, if you can believe it! “I already know my next ride – a F-650!”
