Nissan: Nissan Group reports March 2015 and 2014 fiscal year total Canadian sales

 

 

MISSISSAUGA, ON. – Nissan today announced total Canadian sales for March 2015 of 11,181 units, an increase of 6.8 per cent and a March record. This sales achievement marks 20 consecutive months of record sales growth for the Nissan Group in Canada.

For the company’s 2014 fiscal year, Nissan set an all-time record with 118,033 total Canadian sales, an increase of 22.4 per cent over its 2013 fiscal year.

Nissan Division 2014 fiscal year highlights:

  • In fiscal year 2014, Nissan Division set an all-time record in Canada 107,951 total sales, an increase of 23.8 per cent over its 2013 fiscal year.
  • Nissan also set fiscal year sales records for LEAF, Rogue, and the NV200.

Nissan Division March highlights:

  • Best March on record for the Nissan Division at 10,156 sales, an increase of eight per cent.
  • The Nissan Rogue crossover set an all-time sales record with 2,902 units sold, marking 16 consecutive months of record sales.
  • NV200 compact cargo van also set an all-time record with 162 units sold, up 92 per cent
  • In its third full month in dealerships, sales of the all-new Nissan Murano crossover increased 169 per cent with 748 units sold.
  • JUKE sport crossover sales increased 21 per cent to 464 units.
  • Sales of the Nissan Micra subcompact totalled 1,013 units in March.

Nissan will unveil the all-new Maxima, the brand’s “4-Door Sports Car,” on Thursday, April 2, 2015, at the New York International Auto Show.

Infiniti 2014 fiscal year highlights:

  • In fiscal year 2014, Infiniti set an all-time record with 10,082 total sales in Canada.
  • Infiniti set fiscal year sales records for QX60 and QX80.

Infiniti March highlights:

  • The Infiniti QX80 Luxury SUV had its best March ever, with sales up 97 per cent year-over-year.

NOTE: To ensure consistency in global sales reporting, Nissan calculates monthly variances on a straight-percentage basis, unadjusted for the number of selling days. March 2015 had 25 selling days, while March 2014 had 26 selling days.
