Nissan: Nissan announces senior management appointments

Yokohama, Japan – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced senior management appointments, effective April 1, 2017. The changes cover the positions of Executive Committee members, Senior Vice Presidents (SVP), Corporate Vice Presidents (CVP) and Vice Presidents (VP).

Executive Committee

Kimiyasu Nakamura, currently Executive Vice President, Total Customer Satisfaction and Chairman of the management committee for Japan, Asia, and Oceania, remains EVP focusing on Total Customer Satisfaction.

Daniele Schillaci, currently Executive Vice President, Global Marketing and Sales, Zero Emission Vehicle, and battery business unit, adds responsibility of the management committee for Japan, Asia, and Oceania.

Corporate Officers and Vice Presidents

Christian Mardrus, currently Senior Vice President, Chairman of the management committee for Africa, the Middle East, and India is appointed Senior Vice President, Digital Transformation.

Peyman Kargar, currently Vice President, Sales Marketing, AMI, Renault is appointed Senior Vice President, Chairman of the management committee for Africa, the Middle East, and India.

Alfonso Albaisa, currently Corporate Vice President, Design Business Management / Strategic Design, Global Design Center, Executive Design Director, Infiniti is appointed Senior Vice President, Global Design.

Kunio Nakaguro, currently Senior Vice President, RD, NNA is appointed Corporate Vice President, Nissan Product Development No. 1.

Yukio Ito, currently Division General Manager, Global Aftersales Planning, is appointed Corporate Vice President, marketing and sales Japan.

Catherine Perez, currently Vice President, Program Director, is appointed Corporate Vice President, Corporate Strategy, Partnerships and Business Development.

Jose Roman, currently Division Vice President, Marketing Sales, Latin America, is appointed Corporate Vice President, Global Datsun Business Unit.

Carlos Servin, currently Senior Vice President, Finance, Nissan North America, assumes the additional role of Corporate Vice President, Finance, Regions’ Performance Optimization.

Ivan Espinosa, currently Program Director, is appointed Vice President, Global Product Planning.

Yoshihiro Kawai, currently General Manager, Project Purchasing, RNPO, is appointed Vice President, RNPO-NISSAN projects support functions.

Takuya Nakamura, currently Alliance Global Director, Vehicle Process Engineering, is appointed Vice President, Tochigi Plant.

Celso Guiotoko, currently Corporate Vice President, Global Corporate IS / IT will take a senior role in the statutory auditor’s office. He will be proposed as a statutory auditor at the Annual General Shareholders Meeting in June.

Amit Sethi joins the company and is appointed Vice President, Global Corporate IS / IT.

Senior Management (SVP, CVP and VP) leaving Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. as of March 31, 2017

Vincent Cobee, CVP, is transferred to Mitsubishi Motors Corporation as of April 1, 2017.
Naoya Fujimoto, CVP, is transferred to Mitsubishi Motors Corporation as of April 1, 2017.
Takahide Tsujitani, VP, is transferred to Mitsubishi Motors Corporation as of April 1, 2017.
Philippe Guerin-Boutaud, CVP, returns to Renault as of April 1, 2017.
Shiro Nakamura, SVP, retires from Nissan.
Keno Kato, CVP, retires from Nissan.
Hiromi Takaoka, VP, retires from Nissan.
Ryoji Kurosawa, VP, retires from Nissan.
