Nissan: 1983.5 Nissan 720 Pickup

On June 16, 1983, this standard cab pickup became the first Nissan vehicle produced in the U.S. when it rolled off the production line at Smyrna, Tennessee. Since that day, more than 12 million vehicles have been produced at the Smyrna facility.

The 720 was only available as a 2-door regular or king cab in 4wd or 2wd for the North American market. Other markets offered a crew cab option. The primary engine in North America was Nissan’s Z24 twin-spark, 4-cylinder, but a diesel was also available.

This long bed GL 2wd 720 truck is kept in its original state, and despite its very low mileage still makes road trips from Nashville to Smyrna for commemorative ceremonies and parades.
