compared to September 2014.

Sales in September were led by the compact Mazda3 with 2,864 sold. The
CX-5 was the second-best selling model for Mazda in September with

The all-new 2016 MX-5 continues to generate excitement in the showrooms,
increasing sales by 272% for the best September sales in a decade.

“Even as summer turns into autumn, our customers can’t wait to get their
hands on the new MX-5 roadster,” said David Klan, Senior Director,
Sales, Marketing and Regional Operations. “As soon as you get behind
the wheel of this car, it puts a permanent smile on your face and every
