RICHMOND HILL, ON, Dec. 2, 2014 /CNW/ – Mazda Canada announced sales for November 2014 today totaling 5,068, which is a decrease of 14% compared to November 2013. Total year-to-date sales of 68,063 are up by 1% versus the same period in 2013.
Sales in November were led by the compact Mazda3 with 2,632 sold. Year to date, the Mazda3 sales have increased by 3% compared to 2013. The CX-5 was the second-best selling model for Mazda in November, and enjoyed its best November on record with 1,566 units sold. Year-to-date the CX-5 is up by 13% versus 2013. In November, 86% of all Mazda vehicles sold were equipped with the fuel-efficient SKYACTIV Technology.
Recently, Mazda Canada announced a new standard factory warranty program for all new 2015 vehicles called Mazda Unlimited. This new warranty program strips away the distance limitations on the factory warranty coverage, allowing Canadian owners to drive their vehicles as much as they want, as far as they want. The Mazda Unlimited warranty for Mazda vehicles covers all parts found to be factory defective for 3 years, regardless of the number of kilometers driven. Additional warranties cover Powertrain components for a period of 5 years, unlimited mileage; body sheet metal perforation for 7 years, unlimited mileage; and roadside assistance for 3 years, unlimited mileage.
