RICHMOND HILL, ON, Dec. 1, 2017 /CNW/ – Mazda Canada Inc. (MCI) today reported November sales of 5,991 vehicles, which represents an increase of 4.6 percent versus November 2016. This is the best November sales on record for Mazda in Canada. Sales year-to-date (YTD) are 69,371, which is an increase of 7.6 percent compared to the same period in 2016.
Key November 2017 sales notes:
- Mazda overall sales of 5,991 units represents best November sales ever
- Mazda6 sales jumped 13.5 percent in November, and are up 25.0 percent YTD
- CX-3 sales increased 50.6 percent versus the same period last year, achieving the best November sales on record
- CX-5 sales were up 2.5 percent YOY, with the best November sales on record
- CX-9 also recorded its best November sales on record, up 41.0 percent over November 2016
- As crossover SUVs continue to dominate the market, sales of Mazda’s CX-line remain strong, with CX-3, CX-5 and CX-9 collectively reaching 3,640 vehicles sold in the month of November. This number represents an increase of 16.0 percent YOY, and a YTD increase of 9.2 percent.
- As most of the country prepares for snow in the coming months, the i-ACTIV All-Wheel Drive option continues to be a favorite among Mazda CX-line buyers, with 81.9 percent of customers choosing the AWD option in November.
