Mazda Canada records best November on record

— Significant gains by Mazda3, CX-5 help sales growth —

TORONTO, Dec. 3, 2013 /CNW/ – Mazda Canada announced sales for November
2013
today totaling 5,911, marking the best November sales on record in
Mazda Canada’s 45 year history. Sales in November increased 13%
compared to the previous year.

Sales in November were led by the compact Mazda3, with 3,679 sold,
making this the best November sales on record. The all-new 2014 Mazda3,
available with the full suite of SKYACTIV Technology, saw sales
increase by 34% in November. 72% of all Mazda3s sold in November were
equipped with the fuel-efficient SKYACTIV Technology, which also
accounted for 73% of all Mazda vehicles sold in the month of November.

With total sales of 1,431 in November, the 2014 CX-5 has now enjoyed ten
consecutive months of increased sales, rising year-over-year by 44% and
56% year-to-date compared to 2012.

At the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) Canadian Car
of the Year category winners press conference today, Mazda was named as
the winner in all three segments entered. Awards were handed out for
the 2014 Mazda3, named Best New Small Car (under $21,000), 2014 Mazda3
Sport for Best New Small Car (over $21,000), and the Mazda6 which won
Best New Family Car (over $30,000).

recognizing the outstanding value and quality that our new Mazda3 and
Mazda6 represent to consumers in such a diverse and competitive
