Information for newsrooms: Changes at Volkswagen Communications

Dominik Hoberg (44) takes over as Head of global Product Communications at the Volkswagen brand effective October 1. A qualified lawyer, Hoberg has held responsibility for communications at the SEAT brand since 2009, having previously headed communications at Lamborghini.

Hoberg succeeds Pietro Zollino (48). A physics graduate and journalist, Zollino will be responsible for the coordination of product communications for all Group brands within Volkswagen AG.

Zollino takes over this function from Peter Thul (52), who was appointed Head of Volkswagen Brand Communications effective July 1. Thul reports to Stephan Grühsem, Head of Group Communications, External Relations and Investor Relations. In his new function, Thul is the press spokesperson for Herbert Diess, Chairman of the Volkswagen Brand Board of Management.
