Honda Automobiles: Honda Returns as Proud Supporter of the Sasquatch! Music Festival

Honda will return to the Sasquatch! Music Festival, held over Memorial Day Weekend (May 27-30) in George, Wash in support of the all-new, ninth-generation Civic. For the second year in a row, Honda will present the Big Foot Stage and a Honda Zone, which will feature the all-new Civic Si Coupe and Civic Si Sedan. Additionally, Sasquatch! carbon offsets will be provided by Honda through Carbon Harmony.

Held at the legendary Gorge Amphitheatre, the 10th annual Sasquatch! Music Festival will feature an eclectic gathering of indie rock bands and singer-songwriters, mixed with alternative rockers and hip hop acts. More than 100 bands are confirmed for this year’s sold-out festival including, Foo Fighters, Death Cab for Cutie, Modest Mouse and Wilco. On the Honda Big Foot Stage, over 30 bands are scheduled to perform including Bassnectar, Robyn, Ratatat and Yeasayer. The four day long festival brings more than 100,000 attendees together to experience music in a sustainable, environmentally friendly atmosphere.

“We have found that Civic owners are as passionate about great music as they are the environment,” said Tom Peyton, senior manager of Honda national advertising. “Honda’s participation in Sasquatch! allows our company to combine two issues that our owners care about into a single, fun event.”

In addition to the Big Foot Stage, Honda will present the Honda Zone, which will feature the all-new 2012 Civic Si Coupe, Civic Si Sedan and the CR-Z Sport Hybrid. Attendees will have the opportunity to get a photo taken in two Civic photo booths and enter a drawing for an opportunity to win an all-new 2012 Civic Si Coupe.
