GM Canada Sales Increase 10 Per Cent In October

Oshawa, Ontario (November 1, 2013) — Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers delivered 20,503 vehicles in October 2013, an increase of nearly 10 per cent from last October. Retail sales were up just over 10 per cent and fleet sales were up nearly 9 per cent for the month.
“Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac sales continued to build momentum in October,” said John Roth, vice president, sales, service and marketing, General Motors of Canada. “Retail sales for all four brands are up for the month, led by a 62 per cent increase in retail Cadillac sales and a 31 per cent increase in retail Buick sales. Customers should look for the all-new CTS which has joined the Cadillac line up and has started arriving at dealerships.”

October 2013 Sales Highlights
- Chevrolet Impala retail sales are up 29 per cent for the year
- Total Buick sales increased 40 per cent for the month driven by Verano and the all new Encore.
- Pickup truck sales were up 18 per cent for the month
- Cadillac sales increased year over year for a 13th consecutive month. Total Cadillac sales increased by 53.4 per cent in October and 43.0 per cent calendar year to date
