GM Canada October Sales Increase 7 Per Cent

Oshawa, Ontario (November 3, 2014) — Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers delivered 22,002 vehicles in October 2014, an increase of 7 per cent from October 2013. Total GM Canada sales are up more than 5 per cent for the 2014 calendar year.
“Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac offer a wealth of new products including the industry’s newest and most complete line-up of pickups and SUVs and crossovers,” says John Roth, vice president, sales, service and marketing. “The all-new Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon mid-size pickups began shipping to dealers in October and customers will be able to experience the all new Cadillac ATS Coupe later this Fall.”
October 2014 Sales Highlights
- Total GM Canada sales are up 5.4 per cent for the 2014 calendar year
- Chevrolet sales were up 9 per cent for the month driven by sales of the Volt, Malibu, Impala, Silverado and Tahoe
- In its best October since 2003, Buick sales increased 18 per cent for the month driven by sales of the Verano, Lacrosse and Enclave
- In its best October since 1997, GMC sales were up 7 per cent for the month driven by sales of the Acadia, Yukon and Sierra
- Total Cadillac sales are up 10 per cent calendar year-to-date driven by sales of the all-new Escalade
Total GM Canada sales were up 7 per cent in October 2014.
