As challenges both big and small mount in our world, philosophy of working together, thinking together and improving together has evolved to become Model We – our initiative to Go Further together to improve the world around us. It motivates us to remain dedicated to working as one to affect positive change in our communities, and be unyielding in our pursuit of opportunities to make a difference.

Ford is extremely proud of our partnership with Free the Children as part of Model We, which has allowed us to impact the larger communities through various collaborative initiatives. Recently, we worked with Free the Children to raise donations in support of local food banks for their We Scare Hunger program, which has become one of the largest food drives in Canada.

At the program kick-off event on October 31st, Free the Children’s Marc Kielburger gave an inspiring speech thanking us for our involvement. It was our first time participating in the  program and the results were incredible – our dealers and their communities raised a total of 150,000pounds of non-perishable food in addition to significant cash donations! But we didn’t stop there. 200 Dealers across Canada provided a fleet of vehicles to help bring food to local food banks, and the generosity of the communities could literally be seen filling the back of F-series trucks!

We Scare Hunger was a huge success and, in collaboration with local dealers, we continue to look for ways to make a difference. From toy drives to Drive 4UR programs, we’re proud of our dealers that work hard to support their communities year-round.
