FCA México recorded sales of 7,438 units.
“FCA Mexico is known for bringing vehicles to the Mexican market that raise the bar in different segments,” said Bruno Cattori, President CEO of FCA México. “To continue this trend, we launched the all-new 2019 Ram 1500 last month, the benchmark in durability, technology, efficiency and comfort in the premium pickup segment.”
Alfa Romeo
Alfa Romeo recorded sales of 30 units. Throughout a century, Alfa Romeo brand has distinguished itself for great designs and innovations that have earned it several awards worldwide.
Chrysler
Chrysler recorded sales of 48 units. Chrysler Pacifica, the minivan that redifined its segment, increased its sales 51 percent versus the prior month.
Dodge
Dodge sold 1,987 units. Dodge Attitude, the sales leader of the brand, sold 1,383 units. Dodge Challenger, which recently introduced the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody, increased its sales 18 percent versus 2017. Dodge Journey and Dodge Neon sold 205 units and 185 units, respectively.
FIAT
FIAT sold 883 units, up 26 percent versus the prior month. Fiat Mobi and Fiat Uno increased their sales 21 percent and 35 percent, respectively, versus July 2018.
Jeep®
Jeep has achieved eight consecutive months of sales growth, up 5 percent versus August 2017 with 1,053 units. For nine consecutive months, Jeep Wrangler continued growing, reporting sales of 320 units, a 70 percent increase compared to August 2017. Jeep Cherokee sales increased 9 percent versus 2017. Jeep Renegade achieved sales of 245 units, leading the premium small SUV segment. Jeep Grand Cherokee, the most awarded SUV and leader in its segment, sold 274 units, the same level as the prior year. Jeep Compass, the leader in the premium compact SUV segment, sold 178 units.
Mitsubishi Motors
Mitsubishi Motors Mexico recorded sales of 1,098 units. Mitsubishi L200 achieved best August with 512 units. Mitsubishi Montero Limited sales rose 44 percent compared to August 2017.
Ram
Ram brand achieved best August sales ever with 2,339 units, up 14 percent versus 2017, best August in its history.
Ram ProMaster Rapid sales improved 5 percent versus 2017 with 439 units, maintaining leadership in its segment. Ram 700 sales grew 8 percent versus 2017 with 917 units sold.. Ram Crew Cab sales improved 73 percent versus 2017, achieving its best August ever.
Last month, FCA Mexico launched the all-new 2019 Ram 1500, which becomes the bechmark in durability, technology, efficiency and comfort in the premium pickup segment.
