Did Somebody Say “Encore”? Science Channel How Do They Do It? returns to our new Chattanooga Plant

We hope youre ready for your close-up, Chattanooga. In a recent episode of the Science Channels How Do They Do It?, the show took a look at our new manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee and at the systems and process that go into building a 2012 Passat. On June 24th at 8 p.m. EDT, the show returns to Chattanooga to take an in-depth look at the engineering and building of the plant itself.

The plant was designed with Volkswagens Think Blue initiative in mind and is a real-world example of our holistic approach to environmental sustainability. This approach not only allows for an efficient production process, but it also has positive effects on the surrounding community.

The episode will re-air for three weeks on Science Channel, Discovery Channel, HD Theater and Planet Green.
