Munich. M for Motorsport: The BMW M GmbH is celebrating the German
premiere of its two latest models at the Hockenheimring. The new
Sports Activity Vehicle BMW X5 M / X5 M Competition (combined fuel
consumption: 13.0 – 12.8 l/100 km; combined CO2 emissions:
296 – 291 g/km*) and the Sports Activity Coupe BMW X6 M / X6 M
Competition (combined fuel consumption: 12.7 – 12.5 l/100 km; combined
CO2 emissions: 289 – 284 g/km*) will be presented for the
first time in Germany during the season finale of the DTM. In
Hockenheim on Saturday 5 October, prior to the first of the two DTM
races in 2019, Markus Flasch, head of the BMW M GmbH, will unveil the
sporty and luxurious top-performing version of the X5 and X6 series
featuring BMW M’s most powerful production power unit. The Competition

Hockenheim, the BMW M GmbH will also be exhibiting a selection of
models from its sporty product range during the final weekend of the
sailing regatta Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez at the Côte d’Azur.
The Hockenheimring and the DTM provide the ideal setting for the
presentation of the latest versions of the BMW X5 M and the BMW X6 M,
which offer the similar high performance as the BMW M4 DTM. In keeping
with tradition, BMW M GmbH has developed sporty top-performance
versions of the fourth generation of the BMW X5 and the technically
related third edition of the BMW X6. Both vehicles combine the new,
robust and clear design of BMW X models and intelligent BMW xDrive
four-wheel drive technology with an even more dynamic appearance,
further improved agility as well as typical BMW M power and an
exceptionally sporty sound.
