TORONTO (Thursday, October 10, 2013) – The all-new 2014 Cadillac CTS made its Canadian debut earlier this week on the third-story terrace of Toronto’s ultra-luxurious Shangri-La Hotel. The third-generation CTS is longer, lower and leaner offering lightweight technologies, including aluminum door structures and a nearly 50/50 weight balance.
“This all-new, third-generation CTS signals the next chapter in the Cadillac story, targeting the core of the midsize luxury market,” said Rob Assimakopoulos, general director of marketing and communications for Cadillac in Canada. “With an available Twin-Turbo V6 on the new Vsport model, the CTS takes performance to a whole new level.”
The CTS sedan is based on the high-performing rear-drive architecture of the award-winning ATS sport sedan, moving Cadillac into the prestigious class of midsize luxury sedans. It will be the segment’s lightest car, enabling the most agile driving dynamics in the class. A range of power-dense powertrains underpin its performance, including the all-new Cadillac Twin-Turbo engine and eight-speed automatic transmission.
Pricing (MSRP) on the 2014 CTS is as follows:
2.0L Turbo RWD: $50,895
2.0L Turbo AWD: $53,520
3.6L SIDI RWD: $57,040
3.6L SIDI AWD: $59,060
3.6L Twin Turbo RWD: $74,495
