Marcel Hirscher, the absolute top star in the alpine skiing circus, will again be in the spotlight of his native Austria this weekend. From the season opener in Sölden to the World Cup finale in St. Moritz (CH), the winner of the 2015 World Championships in Vail/Beaver Creek (USA) will be competing in the Audi FIS Ski World Cup to defend his overall victory against the competition. Following the early ending of the season for Anna Fenninger, there will be a new overall winner among the women.
In the Ötztal Valley, the focus will be placed on another top athlete: the Audi RS 3 Sportback. At a photo shoot during the traditional Audi Media Talk with many athletes in attendance this Thursday evening, Audi presented the most powerful compact-class car in the premium segment in Sölden as well. Afterwards, the athletes from the various nations answered the journalists’ questions.
