1. The Gauge is All the Rage
Once you know the appropriate PSI for your vehicle (check the owner’s manual), insert your tire pressure gauge into the unscrewed tire air cap. Observe the reading and adjust pressure accordingly.
2. Tread Lightly
You can check out the state of your tread ware by taking a dime and inserting it into your tire’s tread (it should be able to make it halfway in).
3. Get your Groove on
You can also see how well your tires are lasting by checking on the tread ware indicators in between the tread grooves. On a tire with sufficient tread, these indicators should remain deep within the grooves and not exposed.
