FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., July 21, 2014 – Hyundai Motor America announced pricing for the 2015 Tucson begins at $21,500. Tucson’s combination of style and function helped it receive the 2014 Strategic Vision Total Quality Award in the Entry CUV segment and a 2014 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Award. The 2015 Tucson is available in dealerships now.
A Popular Equipment Package is now available on the 2015 Tucson GLS. This package adds a rearview camera, 4.3-inch color touchscreen audio display, 8-way power driver seat with power lumbar support, leatherette seat bolsters with cloth insets and automatic headlight control for only $750. 2015 Tucson Limited models now come with standard LED taillights.
Tucson added a choice of advanced 2.0- and 2.4-liter GDI four-cylinder engines in 2014 and these powerplants carry over for the 2015 model year. A six-speed automatic transmission remains standard and both engines are available with front- or all-wheel drive.
The 2015 Tucson comes standard with premium features such as 17-inch alloy wheels, projector headlights with LED headlight accents, bodycolor rear spoiler with LED brake lights, remote keyless entry system with alarm, power windows, door locks, and mirrors, an AM/FM/SiriusXM®/CD/MP3 audio system with iPod®/USB/auxiliary input jacks, Bluetooth® hands-free phone system and tilt and telescoping steering wheel.
Tucson offers a generous amount of standard safety equipment including advanced front, front-side impact and side-curtain airbags with rollover sensors, four-wheel disc brakes and ABS with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist, Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) with Downhill Brake Control (DBC), Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Traction Control System (TCS), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and active front head restraints.
