In addition, he contested several 24-hour races at the Nürburgring, clinching class victories in 2014 and 2015. Lloyd won the championship title in the Indy Pro Series in 2007. From 2008 to 2011, he participated in a few races of the IndyCar Series and contested the Indy 500 in America three times. The Playmate of the Year 2008, Doreen Seidel (D), will again be on the grid.”

A driver who will not be at Oschersleben is the permanent entrant Levin Amweg. The race driver from Switzerland is on the mend following his accident at Spielberg but, due to his injuries, will not be able to race in the next two events. “We continue to wish him all the best,” says Michl. “Although he’s absent for the moment he of course continues to be a regular member of the Audi Sport TT Cup team.

Nicolaj Møller Madsen (DK) is traveling to Oscherleben as the overall leader. The Dane has scored 111 points and finished five of the six races on podium. He is trailed by Jan Kisiel (PL, 99 points) and Dennis Marschall (D, 87.5).
