MISSISSAUGA, ONT. – Nissan today announced the promotion of Michael Soutter, currently director, Aftersales, Nissan Canada, to the position of vice president, Sales Operations, Nissan Canada. Reporting directly to Christian Meunier, president, NCI, Soutter will assume this role effective immediately.
With a MBA in Strategic Planning from Schulich School of Business, York University, Soutter joined Nissan Canada in 2013 and has more than 13 years of experience in the automotive industry.
Bilingual in English and French, Soutter has a proven track record in driving revenue and retention – skills that served him well in his previous role of director, Aftersales.
“Michael’s leadership, competitive nature and ability to think outside the box has been an important part of the Nissan team success in Canada,” said Christian Meunier, president of Nissan Canada Inc. “We’re excited to welcome him to this new role and are confident that he will add a new level of forward-thinking strategy as Nissan continues to grow in Canada.”
Soutter’s replacement as director, Aftersales will be announced at a later date.
