Dr. Dietmar Voggenreiter

Dr. Dietmar Voggenreiter was born on January 4, 1969, in the German town of Schwäbisch Hall.

He studied business administration with a focus on technology at the University of Stuttgart. There he earned his doctorate in economics and social sciences in 1998. Voggenreiter then began his career at the management consultancy firm Horváth  Partners, where he subsequently headed the Competence Center Automotive Industry.

Dietmar Voggenreiter moved to AUDI AG in 2002. He initially took over management duties within Controlling at the Ingolstadt headquarters. In 2005, he became responsible for strategic corporate planning. He contributed significantly in this capacity to developing the Audi corporate roadmap “Strategy 2015.”

In 2007 Voggenreiter took charge of the company’s China business in Ingolstadt. Two years later he moved to Beijing as President of Audi China Enterprise Management Co. Ltd., a    wholly owned subsidiary of AUDI AG. He was appointed General Representative of AUDI AG in 2013.

Since November 1, 2015, Dietmar Voggenreiter has been a member of the Board of Management of AUDI AG with responsibility for Sales and Marketing.
