Christian Bauer was born on February 6, 1974, in Eichstätt. He is married and has two children.
After training as an industrial mechanic, Christian Bauer began his professional career at the company OSRAM GmbH in Eichstätt until 1997. Then he studied industrial engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Ingolstadt and started working with AUDI AG in 2002, holding various positions in Customer Service and Audi Genuine Parts.
In 2009 he moved to the Audi Sales Division in China, where he was responsible for dealer network development. After returning to Germany in 2012, he headed the international Audi Retail Qualification program for three years and then took over as Head of Service Germany.
Christian Bauer assumed responsibility for Sales Germany since March 2017.
Additionally Christian Bauer has been responsible for the business of the four rings in the German domestic market as Vice President Sales Germany on a temporary basis since January 2019.
