Victor 2014: Audi is the “IT brand of the year”
Audi receives “Victor 2014” IT award. Computer magazines PC Magazin, PCgo and BusinessIT have honored Audi as “Brand of the Year.” The jury based its decision on the car’s connectivity, which Audi works continuously to advance. (March 27, 2014)
Audi A5 Sportback* is “Classic Car of the Future”
Motor Klassik magazine honored the Audi A5 Sportback with the “Classic Car of the Future” title as part of its “Motor Klassik Awards 2014.” The 1986 Audi Sport quattro E2 also won second place in the “Race Car of the Year” category. The 1984 Audi Sport quattro took third place in the category “Classics from 1980-1991.” (March 25, 2014)
Top score in U.S. crash test for Audi A3 Sedan*
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) rated the Audi A3 Sedan* as its Top Safety Pick+. The new model is thus also one of the safest automobiles on the market in the United States. (March 25, 2014)
Victory for the Audi A3* in the Marcus vote by ÖAMTC
The Audi A3 Sportback* and the Audi A3 Sedan garnered the most votes in the compact class category in the Marcus survey presented by Austrian automotive club ÖAMTC. In the past year, 47,169 club members voted for their favorite cars. There was a total of 58 cars in seven categories to choose from. (March 14, 2014)
Ducati wins “Motorcycle of the Year”
Five prizes in the “Motorcycle of the Year 2014” go to Ducati: The Ducati Multistrada* and Ducati Diavel* each received “Motorcycle of the Year” honors and thus took first place in their categories. In the “Sportbike” category, the Ducati Panigale 1199* and 899* took second and third place. In the “Enduros/Supermotos” category, the Ducati Hypermotard* finished third. (March 18, 2014)
Success for Audi in the “Best Value in America Award”
Audi celebrated success in the “Best Value in America Award,” a prize bestowed by the American data and analysis company Vincentric. The Audi A7*, Audi TT*, Audi R8* and Audi Q5* each won in their classes. In addition, Audi received the “Best Value Luxury Brand” title. (March 25, 2014)
